Fumer
Times New Viking
Here’re Times New Viking vanishing at the end of their new Stay Awake EP in a fugue of fuming exhaust smoke, melodies hacking and gagging at rare slips of fresh air. Voices find a funnel through though, somehow, a slimy revolving cone that trails back behind and through the soot like a windsock leaking its juice; pop a wobbly canine tied to the rear bumper as wheels burn and speed somewhere twinned with a small fishing port in Luxembourg, yeah, there are fish in Luxembourg, landlocked as they are and I’ll throw dice that Beth, Jared and Adam have spread the thrill of confusion there, too.
