rare liaison

If God stays up all night, does time re-sync around Him? I wondered that. I listened to Blondes and I thought of the push and the pull and of how the faces of stretched out hours might contort like concrete gargoyles. Rain batted at them, then at the crystals in the corners of my eyes. A film fell over my eyelids and all the colours started running as one, shapes were impressions and lights succour. I imagine the imminent rain was replaced by more imminent rain.
