Pieces of a green bottle
WCW = William Carlos Williams, World Championship Wrestling, William Cody Watson. Whilst the opening pair have their respective merits, it is the latter who co-runs Bathetic Records - responsible for recent Jeans Wilder, A Gal and the Dawns tapes. Here are the latest Cough Cool and Nude Beach tracks, both from upcoming Bathetic releases, plus a missive fired from the debut album of WCW’s own Pink Priest project, due soon on the increasingly interesting La Station Radar label. I’m not quite sure who’s in what band - I think they all share members - but I’d like to think the whole thing can be traced back to a hulking collective-conscious lurking somewhere West Coast, drawn shy and speaking only in C20.
