Sunni-Geini are a group of south London producers, numbering thus:

Little, if anything, else is known about the elusive quintet. The ghost textures of former shadow dweller Burial are momentarily present, but without the smog of rave lore their lustre is founded more on dancehall riddim, the glitching post-dubstep of Martyn and Rustie and the way J Dilla broke the overarching sentiments of soul down into the infinite microscopic lines of a loop’s circle. Myriad samples, vocal harmonies, cutting synths and breaking glass: Sunni-Geini, prog-steppin’ since 2008.
