Sky Route ::: Star Roof
The notion of “frontier-dream”, with a high perceptive direct content, is defined from accounts of dream experienced during coma. Then, from discussions with nursing-team working in units for comatose patients in a wakeful state, a protocol is proposed based on semiotic and psychoanalytical factors which aims at ensuring the global care of the comatose patient considered as a person.
MP3: Abe Vigoda - Don’t Lie
Casting rhythms fleet from gilded wing, Abe Vigoda are a band that seem born in flight; closer to the light than most but ribbed for the ultimate aching; heady explorers of the air between big star and vacuum voids; impossible + reverie. ‘Endless Sleeper’, the one, albeit meddled with, mainstay of their last two records, gives the image of constant evolution in a dream-like state: forever fluid and looking as the quartet continue to drift from the stunted punk-wave of their earlier albums, through the sun-lit fauna of Skeleton, to the moodier densities of the Reviver EP.

2OO8 ≠ 32
It’s hard not to feel berk or beast when attempting to cram 12 months into 700 words, so we won’t even try. Bruised Bone Blues
Director: Weston Currie
Los Angeles’ Abe Vigoda always did see the dark in the party, their carnival beset, slowly, by gape-jawed and cackling sub-city ghouls. ‘Skeleton’ clatters, it crashes, founded on slugs of bass that rattle sockets ‘til your shot-eyed, blood bleeding all psychedelic and burnt-in behind folded eyelids, behold: my favourite band on this wet earth ribbing it with their paradise punk. “Celebration, celebration.”
