Telepathic Water Eyes. Their noise is wet and it’s got bits of dirt in it. It’s a shit shower. It’s a sewer fish. It’s a gunge glug. It’s Caleb from Old Blood picking new scabs, taunting lost alligators with fluid smells and red. Shake off your septicemia for a race to the final flush with gnarled reptilian teeth chomping at your sodden loins. Are you alive? Are you covered in shit?

Thankfully, Eternal Summers have come all the way from the Virginian mountains to towel you off at the finishing line, ‘Fall Straight Back’ a fine fit for trauma OST as it lurches through plaintive chords and ferries you round town, in an old white car billowing dope smoke. Depending on when you read this Nicole Yun’s 8-song mini album is either imminent or already with us.
