End of a Sentry

Jah Pat has been eaten by machines. He liked it, though - conveyor belts reeled him in grinning, tireless rubbery tongues delivering him unto a belly of cogs, cables and tiny lasers made huge by the chewing of him into blissful invisibility. Busy and supremely well-oiled, NPIP004 is the greatest mix Pat’s offered up yet - the ever-reliable bassland sentry going deeper, darker, seeing more than ever before.

Taking in Darkstar, George Fitzgerald, Daniel Wang, Joy Orbison and Deadboy, the full tracklist can be found after the jump.

In It

We’re proud to present the third NPIP mix from the stalwart Jah Pat, its tracklist reading like a Greatest Hits of the year so far in bassland music. From DVA and HardHouse Banton to FaltyDL and Untold, via Pearson Sound and the totemic centrepiece of Joy Orbison’s ‘Hyph Mango’, his NPIP003 emerges from the dank energised and invincible, looking to throttle.

Full tracklist after the fold.

NPIP + FACT = WKND

…And it’s heavy. But no standing there with licked finger to the air trying to catch our drift. Go see the magi collective over at FACT magazine for a download link, tracklist after ‘the jump’.

Enormous thanks to the gentleman Jah Pat for a mix that hulks and struts and swells and rattles and bounces and baulks the best. Thanks too to FACT for asking after us.

Enjoy your weekends’.

Irate Radio

Heads down, hoods up - low-bit transmitters throb through Union walls to tear down Next City; razed by vollies of gilded treble and low-slung dubshots. Jah Pat’s first No Pain In Pop mix plays like a year’s best of, featuring the choicest of deep, doomsday slabs from Quest and Silkie, as well as the hi-tech clatter of Martyn’s ‘Suburbia’ and Zomby’s apt pair ‘Euphoria’ and ‘Strange Fruits’. Full track list after the jump.
